7 Things on the 7th Day

On the 7th Day, God rested. So am I, and I'm doing a little blogging. Here are 7 recent things for the Bishops:

1. Cooper loves playing with shaving cream. He also gets it all over the place.

2. This is what someone looks like after mixing over 50 bags of concrete and adding color. While we still have lots to do, it is nice to keep hammering out these projects.

3. Brooke is actually almost 7 months, but this picture was still on the camera. She continues to grow by leaps and bounds. She is finally mobile after weeks and weeks of practicing her yoga moves. We were convinced that she might actually just stand and start walking. Her crawl reminds me of the 80s breakdance move - the Kickworm - but it serves its purpose. Oh, for some reason she's also fond of growling as she plays and crawls. Aiden did that too. We used to call him our little bear cub. Now we have a little cubbette.

4. Super cute Cooper getting into more mischief.

5. Soccer. Aiden, Grey and Gage are all playing soccer this season in the North Las Vegas recreational league. It's the first time for Grey and Gage, but all three of them are having a blast. Grey and Gage actually get to play on the same team so we only have to go to two games each Saturday. Kim however has to get the little guys to practice on Wed. since it starts at 5 p.m. While it has been pretty hectic, I love seeing them play. They've all improved so much already.

6. Brooke is eating baby food now and loves it. Here she's trying to get the spoon out of Kim's hand. She's also sporting her super stylish "Chicks Rock" bib. What a fashion plate.

7. Primary Program. Here's the crew after surviving another primary program. Kim did such a good job as the primary chorister. She was disappointed that the kids didn't sing as well as she thought they should. I thought everyone did fantastic. We tried to get a picture with everyone in their suits (and dress). This was pretty much the best we could do after three hours of church.

I love that shot with the suits (and dress)! What's your secret to get everyone to look at the camera and smile at the same time?
