It has come to our attention that some of our Christmas letters that we sent out were treated less than kindly by our beloved US Postal Service, arriving in shreds and unreadable.
So, here is the electronic version for those of you that are just dying to know what the Bishop Family has been up to this past year.

Sportacus
No, I'm not talking about this weirdo. I'm talking about having four children playing sports right now. Because of this hell wonderful experience, Kim and I have decided that we will not have more than three children in a sport at one time. We've also decided that each child gets to pick one sport/activity to do per year. No more of this fall, spring and summer business. (Who am I kidding, we just spend summers in the pool.) So, no more fall and spring sports.
One positive thing has been being able to play around with the new camera.

Cassanova
While switching out the boys' winter clothes for warmer weather raimant, Kim found this little note underneath Grey's dresser. A love note. Funny. He got if for Valentine's Day but somehow neglected to tell his parents about it...hmmmmm.
It's from Carmen, and it is addressed to her "Secret Cruch." Carmen doesn't spell very well. And she also doesn't know how to keep her "cruches" secret, since she gave the note to Greyson. The note is a candy-heart-gram with the heart-messages helping to make up the text of the note. For your reading pleasure, I have transcribed it for you. The quotes denote the heart-text.
I "love you" very much. Will you "be mine." "Ur mine." because your "too hot" and hansum. Can you "be true?" I'm "mad 4 U." You are my "soul mate!" I "XOXO" and your "so fine!" I "got cha."
Love, Carmen
to: My secret cruch.
Siete
Our Gagebot, Gagezilla, Gage the Rage, is now seven! We love that cute kid and his dimples. He's over the moon today because his grandma is taking he and cousin, Deven, to dinner and having a sleep over. What a lucky kid!
For his birthday dinner, he had his friend Mason come over for some ribs, broccoli, roasted potatoes, and cake and ice cream, of course.

Keep the hits rollin'
(No he doesn't have the mumps. He just has his whole waffle stuffed in his mouth - the camera waits for no one!)
Poor Gager.
The kids leads with his face. He has split open, hit, smashed or bruised his eye/eye brow no less than five times. This last occurence did not require dermabond or stitches as in times past, but it did leave him with a beautiful shiner. He says he had been playing rugby but wasn't went he got hurt. They were playing another game; apparently rugby wasn't rough enough. :)

Scoops the Shenaniganizer
Cooper is three. Therefore he has 3-year-old logic. Here's a couple of examples.
1. A couple of weeks ago, Greyson had an accident in the middle of the night. The boys know what to do if that occurs, and Grey followed protocol. He put his pjs and bedding in the laundry and put on new pjs. However, he could only find short-sleeved jammies. Now for some unknown reason, my boys always want to wear short sleeves, even when it is 40 degrees out, so Grey wasn't too sad about it.
Well the next morning, Cooper starts telling Kim and I that he also wet the bed. Although there was no evidence of that, he was insistent. Then, he finally says, "Yes, I did wet my bed...I need to put on short-sleeves." :)
2. On the way to my parents' house, we have to drive amidst a bunch of road construction, which is heaviest about a block from their house. Today, we were driving through said construction, Scoops starts shouting that he HAS TO GO to the bathroom. When I tell him that we're almost at Grandma's house, he says "But I want to go in the porta-potties!"
Shenaniganizer for sure.
Greyson is Eight!
This morning Grey and I reminisced about the day he joined us in this world. I do this every year, and they just love to be reminded of stories from long ago. Then the scrapbook looking begins. The older boys enjoyed looking at themselves as infants, and then my guilt bubbled to the surface. I do not even have a book for Scoops or Brookey and Jace is merely 4 months old in his book. SO I AM TURNING OVER A NEW LEAF. By Brooke's birthday which is just a few months away and Cooper's birthday which is just shy of 6 months away, I will have books begun for them. I better get cutting. And while I am at it, the birthday boy asked if I would make him a little older too. Rest for the weary- none for this gal. At least this project is fun for me.
