A couple of weeks ago (right when the temperature dropped from upper 80s to upper 50s with wind) we decided to get pumpkins from Gilcrease Orchards. It is nice having it so close to our house. The boys love wandering around and exploring. We found one whole apple on the trees still and based on the boys' reaction, you'd think we found gold or something. We did get to pick some delicious eggplant that we made into eggplant parmesan, and of course, we got some of their delicious fresh apple cider.
